Involvement with Alumni Western begins before first year on the day you accept Western’s offer of admission. The Alumni Association is actively involved with students by hosting some of Western’s most memorable student events through Backpack 2 Briefcase; providing support to important campus activities like undergraduate and graduate student, teaching and research awards; and finally kicking off the beginning of your professional lives with Last Lecture.
Through your Alumni Association, and 250,000 talented alumni, we work to keep you engaged by offering a range of events and networking opportunities for current students on campus and around the globe.

An event series designed to assist students in all years, across all programs to make genuine connections with alumni through networking opportunities.
Last Lecture
An elegant evening cocktail social for the graduating class, Last Lecture features a keynote speech delivered by a prominent alumnus.
Off to Western
Hosted each summer in select hometowns, current students and young alumni are Hometown Volunteers and share their student experience with first year students.
